COLORING MY TOWN creates fun educational coloring books customized for our communities, featuring real local businesses and the rich history that makes each town unique. Books are distributed free to students in grades K-6, and every page is a conversation starter about the place your family calls home.
Here's how it works: pick a business or organization from the coloring books below, download and COLOR their page together, then submit it using the form below. We'll add it to our gallery and feature it on our social channels for the whole county to see.

Two 2027 community coloring books. One connected Iredell County.
Coloring My Town and Connect Iredell are partnering to create two community coloring books for 2027: Coloring Mooresville and Coloring Iredell-Statesville.
Created in coordination with Mooresville Graded School District and Iredell-Statesville Schools, the books will help elementary school students color, discover and connect with the people and places that make Iredell County home.
Every local business, nonprofit organization, government agency, school and family contributes something meaningful to our community. Through custom coloring pages, locally inspired stories and educational activities, students will discover how their neighbors help Iredell County learn, grow, work and care for one another.

Local businesses, community organizations, civic groups and school leaders are invited to become featured community partners.
Each participant will work with the creative team to develop a customized coloring page that introduces students and families to its people, purpose and role in Iredell County. Support from participating organizations and community sponsors allows the books to be provided free of charge to local elementary school students.
