I cannot say enough positive things about this venue and the owners! The location is simply gorgeous, from the artfully landscaped grounds, to the majestic old house. The Waldrons are wonderfully kind people who really know how to make a wedding beautiful, special, personal, and stress free! It is truly an all-inclusive venue where no detail will be overlooked. Wendy was a pleasure to work with and put me at ease from the planning phase through our wedding day. My husband and I could not have asked for a more perfect experience. Every aspect of our day was exactly what we hoped for in a small, intimate wedding, and more! I am happy to add that our special day went off without a single glitch, but most definitely ended with a "hitch". ;-) I offer highest recommendations for the 1812 Hitching Post.
