Statesville Police Department Promotes Devin Schenz to Captain

As Captain of the Communications and Records Division, Schenz will oversee the department’s emergency communications and records operations. The division plays an important role in supporting officers and serving the public by answering calls for service, dispatching emergency personnel and maintaining police records.

“Devin has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, professionalism and a commitment to serving both our department and the Statesville community,” said Police Chief David Onley. “His experience and knowledge will serve him well as he takes on this leadership role, and I am confident he will continue to support our employees and strengthen the services we provide to the public.”
