Statesville Police Department Food Distribution (February 4, 2026)

The Statesville Police Department is partnering with local churches and community volunteers to provide free hot meals and snack bags to anyone in need this week.

A food distribution will take place:

  • Wednesday, February 4, 2026
  • 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • SPD South District – 1392 Shelton Avenue

This will be a drive-thru and walk-up event, with approximately 200 meals available on a first come, first served basis.

The event is open to anyone of any age who could use a meal. Just show up!

In addition to the on-site distribution, 186 meals will also be delivered directly to local students and families. These efforts are made possible through the generosity of South River Baptist Church, Jean Foster and Community Friends, anonymous volunteers, and the Carroll Street Cuties, whose time and support help make sure neighbors are cared for.

Organizers are still accepting nonperishable food items and winter gear donations to help support future outreach efforts.

The Statesville Police Department remains committed to caring for our community both on and off duty. If you or someone you know could benefit, please stop by or share this information.
