Statesville Police Officers Honored to Support Shop with a Cop Program

Last week, the Statesville Police Department was honored to once again take part in the Iredell County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 10’s annual Shop with a Cop program at the Statesville Walmart.

Through the Lodge’s fundraising efforts, 62 families were served during this year’s event. Officers from the Statesville Police Department volunteered alongside FOP Lodge 10 members, assisting families throughout the evening and helping create a positive and memorable experience for each participant.

After completing their shopping inside the store, the families went outside, where they were able to select toys from a large collection donated by Lodge members and community supporters. The excitement and smiles throughout the evening reflected the meaningful impact of the program.

Shop with a Cop is a program that is especially important to FOP Lodge 10 and its membership, with a shared goal of making the holiday season a little brighter for families across Iredell County. For Statesville Police officers, participating in this event is an honor each year and a meaningful way to strengthen community connections during the holidays.

The Statesville Police Department extends its appreciation to FOP Lodge 10, its members, and all donors who helped make this year’s Shop with a Cop event possible.
