Azalea arrived at Rescue Ranch in the summer of 2015 alongside five pygmy goats. She was found as a stray and with the help of another rescue, she became part of a herd and is now living a life of luxury.

Azalea is a big girl that has a big personality to match. She is a goofy goat who loves attention and exploring and checking everything out. Her favorite activities including jumping into our gator while we’re cleaning the pasture (monitoring our work of course) and taking nice long naps on her swing.

She also loves to eat and can immediately recognize our feed and snack containers. When she spots us, she will begin baaing and then start waddling over to see what we've got to spoil her with.

At roughly 12 years old, Azalea is one of our older ladies in the goat yard. She definitely has the respect of some of our younger goats and has no problem standing her ground when she feels the need to.

Her quirky personality allows Azalea to stand out in our herd and she will quickly make you fall in love with her.
