Road Closure: Caldwell Street Closure for Waterline Project

Beginning Thursday, July 16, 2026, Caldwell Street at Newbern Avenue will be closed to traffic as part of the City's Waterline Replacement Project. The closure is expected to remain in place through Wednesday, July 22, 2026, weather permitting, while crews complete waterline improvements in the area.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and follow all posted detour signs. We appreciate the public's patience as this important infrastructure project continues.
