The City of Statesville has approved a Right-of-Way Encroachment Permit for Ripple Fiber to install underground fiber optic conduit and cable along the Garner Bagnal Boulevard (US-70) corridor.

The City does not control construction schedules or promote specific service providers.

Work is scheduled to begin April 22, 2026, and is expected to be completed by May 22, 2026, weather and conditions permitting.

Construction will take place in multiple areas, and residents may notice work along the following streets: Rayon Street, Filbert Street, Park Drive, Hawthorne Drive, Gagner Street, Vista Terrace, Younger Avenue, Lakeview Drive, Knox Avenue, Wedgedale Avenue, Bristol Terrace, Woodlawn Drive, Elam Avenue, Crowell Avenue, Forest Drive, Huggins Street, School Street, South Oakland Avenue, South Miller Avenue, Logan Street, Church Street, Woodruff Street, Partnership Way, Bristol Road, Cline Street, Broom Street, Douglas Street, Delray Street, Wooten Street, and Guy Street.

During construction, residents and motorists may notice utility locate markings, construction crews and equipment working in the right-of-way, directional boring operations, and occasional lane shifts or brief traffic delays. Short-term access impacts may occur near active work zones. All disturbed areas will be restored in accordance with City standards.
