Founded by the Iredell Council on Aging in 1995, the South Iredell Senior Center's (SISC) mission is to help seniors continue to grow, promoting physical, emotional, and economic well-being for successful aging.
We are a 501(c)(3) organization and a Senior Center of Excellence, certified by the NC Department of Health and Human Services, Aging and Adult Services Division. South Iredell Senior Center is located at 202 N. Church Street in the lower level of the Charles Mack Citizen Center in Downtown Mooresville, NC.
The philosophy of South Iredell Senior Center is based on these premises: that aging is a normal developmental process; that human beings need peers with whom they can interact and who are available as a source of encouragement and support and that older adults have the right to a voice in determining matters in which they have a valid interest.
