If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Statesville, you can’t pass up the Yellow Bow Tie Bed & Breakfast. This gorgeous, Victorian home, was built in 1881 and is nestled on a corner lot near downtown Statesville. Owners Kevin & Cindy Drako bought the home with a bed & breakfast in mind, and have spent the last couple of years turning it into a 3 guestroom bed and breakfast. Though not originally from Statesville, The Drakos fell in love with the town immediately. “We thought, wow this is really, really cool’” said Kevin, “everybody was just so friendly here in Statesville”.

Though lodging is typically thought of for out-of-town visitors, the bed & breakfast admits to getting quite a few local visitors, too. It’s a great place for brides & grooms, to celebrate an anniversary, or even just a night away from home. If you stay at the Yellow Bow Tie, you can expect great beds, great food, and attentive hosts. “We want to be part of the experience that someone has when they’re staying here in Statesville”, said Cindy.
